MAGAZINE & REPRODUCTION NAVY STOCK. Cal. 9x19mm. S# 9329. Bbl. 6". In WWI DWM made approx. 15,000 Lugers for the Navy in 1917. This standard production example with 6" bbl. has drift adj. front sight and 2-position rear sight graduated 100-200. Chambered dated "1917". First toggle link with intertwined "DWM" initials. "1917" date marked on the front sight base and left frame rail. Crown/M markings on left bbl. extension and underside of bbl. Full S# on forward frame and repeated under bbl. with the last 2-digits on all of the usual small parts. Firing pin unmarked. Wood checkered grips with inspection markings, but no S#. Correct navy mag. with tinned body and plug with concentric circles, marked with a Crown/M and "1945". MAGS: 1 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: reproduction stock. CONDITION: pistol with approx. 97-98% original rust blue with sharp edge wear in usual locations around muzzle, tips of rails, and hump of sideplate. Corresponding thin areas of small parts. No suggestion of enhancement. Grips with generally crisp diamonds, spotty oil darkening, tiny losses. Comparable condition mag., though Crown/M is barely discernible. Bright bore, minimal oxidation, sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. Reproduction stock as new. An extremely nice no excuse 1917 dated Navy Luger from WWI with reproduction stock. (25-3483/LMA).
