Cal. 45 ACP. S# 150981. This pistol originally shipped to Rock Island Arsenal May 1917; The United States entered World War I on April 6, 1917. This Brushed Blue pistol has most correct parts; replacement parkerized 5" Colt Type 6 barrel. Frame has "GHS" stamp & double diamond checkered walnut grips. MAGS: 1 two tone 7 rd. CONDITION: slide has fair original finish showing blue in protected areas, patina throughout & marks. Good original brush blue on receiver sides with fading to brown/gray patina on grip strap, mainspring housing & bottom portions of frame. Good grips with noticeable scratches, wear to checkering & small gouges. Grip screw have reparkerized finish. Very good strong bore. (24-5632/MD). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
