WINCHESTER, MASS TALL CLOCK. The decorated case having all over red and black grained decoration. The bonnet having mustard yellow painted door and yellow painted rosettes at top of crest. The door ornamented with feathered mustard and brown decoration with cut corners. The bottom panel of the clock is similarly decorated. The dial retains very nice original decoration with gilt painted columns at top with a garland of bright flowers. The case on a cut out foot. SIZE: Approx. 16 1/2" w x 9 1/2" d x 92" h. CONDITION: decoration strong all over and having all over craquelure to the paint. A note on the base plate of clock reads "Restored by Harry W. Hepburn III of Harrison, ME 11-15-2012". Complete with two tin weights. Overall very good. (05-421/JJ). $1,200-1,800.
