SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 30 Luger. S# 543. Bbl. 4 3/4". Model 1900 Luger mfg. by DWM for sales in Switzerland. Top of the bbl. extension is marked with a Swiss Geneva cross within a sunburst, with a "P" and small Swiss Geneva cross marked on the left. Toggle is marked with the intertwined "DWM" monogram. Left side of the frame has had an "S" and "F" added at their respective positions at the safety lever. Metal components exhibit a dull reapplied blue finish overall, with strawed parts having been reheated. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Old Model frame & breechblock, with anti-rebound arm and dished toggles. Blade front sight, with later modified U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching in the early commercial (hidden) fashion and include the frame, takedown lever, sideplate, grip safety, bbl., bbl. extension, breechblock, toggles, as well as the grips. MAGS: 1 later production 8-rd. CONDITION: excellent, as refinished, with metal components retaining virtually all of their reapplied dull blue finish overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing and a few marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (24-4124/MLW).
