18 1/4" Overall, 13" meaty blade w/ 3" short clip almost 2 1/2" wide & almost 1/2" thick at ricasso. This style knife, described in early American literature as a fighting knife. Blade form is very similar to the Caiaphas Ham well known bowie knife displayed at the Alamo. CONDITION: good to very good overall. Blade is an overall pitted iron patina. Simple carved wood grip w/ iron ferrule has hand worn patina w/ lg. hairline crack. (02-15543/JS). $700-900.
