S# 7989. Cal. .32. Standard configuration mid-1862 manufactured S&W No. 2 revolver, 6" barrel, less than 10,000 Smith & Wesson army revolvers were manufactured 1861-1862. This one saw hard use but it's still a complete functioning representative example. CONDITION: fair-good overall, appears all original, assembly markings to worn to discern. Metal overall cleaned, pitted, repaired latch, address is only partially discerned. Mechanics functional, pitted rifled bore. PROVENANCE: Lifelong collection of Robert "Mike" Bricker. (01-25040/JS).
