Cal. 44 HRF. S#. 607. Bbl. 24" octagon w/ integral mag. tube & shroud that rotates for loading. German silver blade front sight w/ receiver mounted graduated leaf rear sight. Brass action w/ lever latch. Walnut stock w/ brass trapdoor crescent buttplate. Top bbl. flat is marked w/ S# 607. Inside toe of buttplate has S# 1806. One buttplate screw is numbered 806. CONDITION: Bbl. & mag. have dark brown appearance with general pitting. Action has a mild reacquired patina showing scratches & marks. Sanded stock is undersize at action showing heavy wear & marks w/ a chip at buttplate peak & a crack on the right side. Functioning action. Bore has worn rifling showing some light pitting.
