Cal. 12ga 2 5/8". S# 190700. Bbls 28" of damascus steel. Fixed MOD and FULL chokes. Brass front bead. Factory engraved action features a pointing setter on the right side with pointer on left and flying mallard on floorplate. Scenes are surrounded by foliate scroll and fancy borders. Trigger guard engraving features a woodcock. Double triggers. Ejectors. Splinter forearm and hard rubber capped pistol grip stock. Nicely grained black walnut with brass shield and toeline. LOP: Altered to 13 7/8" over an added Ithaca Sunburst pad. Stock and forearm have segmented fleur-de-lis Grade 4 hand checkering. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: letter from Ithaca Guns dated August 15, 2023 states "The original manufacturer's data for the serial number 190700, as extracted from the original Ithaca records housed in this museum, are as follows: Type: Shotgun; Grade: 4; Gauge: 12; Barrel Length: 28; Ejectors; Damascus; Date Finished: October 27, 1909". CONDITION: refinished shotgun. Damascus bbls retain 90% of re-brown finish having a light gray tone. Action has 98% restored case colors. Sanded and refinished wood have lightly worn checkering.
