Cal. 8mm Murata. S# 2315. Bbl. 29". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2000m. Matching numbers on receiver, bbl., floorplate, trigger guard, front trigger guard screw, rear band & mag cutoff. Other visible parts are numbered differently. Bolt head & extractor are both present. Receiver top has fully intact mum. Receiver & bbl. markings have added white highlight. Blued finish. Asian hardwood stock set with two-piece butt & bottom mounted sling swivels. CONDITION: refinished stock has added finish with buttplate being proud of wood, a few long cracks in forend, a few other scattered cracks, some chipping, dings & handling marks. Metal is mostly a gray patina with areas of old touch up, strong traces of arsenal blue, scattered oxidation & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bore has worn rifling with scattered pitting & frosting. (01-27203/MJC). ANTIQUE. $400-700.
