RIFLE. Cal. 25-35. S# 1415352. Bbl. 24 1/4". Model 64 chambered in 25-35 (caliber discontinued in 1941) mfg. in the years after WWII. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations. Blue finish. Smooth wood semi-beavertail forend and pistol grip buttstock with checkered steel buttplate. Ramped and hooded blade front sight with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original blue finish, showing a few light handling marks, with some touch up over a scratch on the left side of the receiver. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows some superficial marks and small impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Norm Greenberg Collection.
