SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. S# 1793-S. Bbl. 6". Second Series Woodsman Match Target semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1949. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt above "MATCH TARGET", with the S# marked on the right. Left side of the slide is marked with the cal. designation. Metal components exhibit a dual-tone polished and matte blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with a 2-piece set of First Series style Woodsman Match Target checkered wood grips, the left panel featuring a thumbrest. Ramped blade front sight and dovetailed adj. square notch rear sight. MAGS: x2 10-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wood display case containing a mottled brown synthetic grip adapter. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts to the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, some mild thinning, as well as scattered spots and patches of light to mild pitting. Very bright bore, exhibiting a series of patches of light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with the left panel exhibiting a notable chip along the edge of the thumbrest.
