Cal. 38 Spl. S# 131057. Bbl. 4", pinned. Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching stamped numbers on frame, bbl., cyl., and extractor. Matching pencil number on inside of right grip panel. Early M&P Hand Ejector that appears to be a first model without pins under the extractor. Right side of bbl. has several patent dates, with the last date of February 6th, 1906. Blued finish with case-colored trigger and hammer. Unmarked checkered hardwood grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: later replacement S&W 12-2 box with manual and paperwork. CONDITION: grips show a few handling marks. Hammer and trigger retain most of their case colors with some light operational wear. Balance of metal retains 93% original blue with scattered light fading and edge & handling wear. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Bright, near excellent bore. (24-5623/MJC).
