Cal. 16 Ga. 9.3 x 72R. S# 43 (on action). The 27" barrel set has maker's name and address on top rib with pop-up rear sight. Bottoms of barrels are stamped with German imperial proofs and a crowned "U". Round bodied under lever action has early style needle fire type ignition with straight line firing pins in top housing. Combination tang safety and toggling rifle selector is at top of grip. Front trigger is set. Action is engraved with well cut scroll. Capped pistol grip buttstock of figured European walnut measures 13-3/4" over steel buttplate with cartridge trap. Stock features right hand cheek piece and checkered grip. Matching splinter forend has Deeley release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: L .666. R .676. Restriction: L .018 (Mod). R .007 (IC). Wall thickness: L .022. R .020. STOCK: DAH: 2-3/4". DAC: 1-3/4". CAST: about 1/2" off. LOP: 13-3/4". WEIGHT: 6 lb. 0 oz. CONDITION: fair. Barrel with most of an old re-black. Other metal dark gray and brown. Stocks with considerable wear. Checkering almost smooth. Buttstock cracked and repaired. Shotgun bores are shiny with dent removal about 12" from breech in left barrel. Rifle bore dark and pitted. Action is tight.
