Cal. 8mm Nambu. S# 4708. Bbl. 4 3/4". Blade front sight. Fixed square notch rear sight. Matching numbers on slide & cocking piece. Bolt is numbered "715" possibly an assembly number. Firing pin & extension are unnumbered. Right rear of slide has Tokyo arsenal symbol & serial number. Right rear of frame has "4.6" Showa date for June, 1929. Markings have added white highlight paint. Blued finish with strawed small parts. Grooved Asian hardwood grips. MAGS: 2-8 rd. both nickel finished & numbered to different pistols. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: leather clamshell holster with cleaning rod & spare firing pin. CONDITION: grips show some dings & handling wear. Metal shows overall fading to gray with several slash marks on front of trigger guard, scattered oxidation & pitting. Action appears to function properly when hand cycled. Worn bore with scattered oxidation. (24-6996/MJC). CURIO. $600-900.
