Cal. 25 ACP. S# 7974. Bbl. 2 1/16". Model 1 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther. Left side of the slide is marked "SELDSTLADE - PISTOLE CAL 6 35. PATENT". Right side of the frame is marked "WALTHER'S PATENT". Right side of frame (chamber), slide, and bbl. exhibit a Crown/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the trigger, which is in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered brown hard rubber grips, each featuring the encircled Walther "CW" monogram at the top of the panels. Left grip screw is absent. Slide matches the frame via "74". MAGS: x1 6-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain fair to good amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning fading to gray patina, scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation, as well as scattered spots and patches of light to moderate pitting. Bore is relatively bright, exhibiting streaks of mild pitting along the edges of the lands, while retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show light smoothing and some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. (26-2733/MLW). CURIO. $250-400.
