Cal. 45-75, no caliber marking as found on early models. S# 13616. Bbl. 26" octagon, 2" shorter than standard. Full length mag. Sporting front sight with graduated leaf rear sight and midrange Vernier tang sight. 2nd model with screw fastened dust cover rail. Blue finish with case colored hammer, lever and shotgun buttplate. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock. 1876 manufacture. CONDITION: fine. Bbl., action and fittings retain over 70% lightly faded blue showing normal edge and carry wear with scattered light scratches. Hammer and lever have over 50% lightly faded case colors. The shotgun buttplate has vivid case colors. Lightly refinished wood shows scattered scratches and marks. Forearm has a full length repaired crack along bottom. Action is sound. Some screws show distortion. Bore is bright with lightly worn rifling. (01-21734/DS). ANTIQUE. $5,000-7,000.
