Cal. 60. NSN. Bbl. 9". Percussion pistol, likely produced in the Middle East. Lockplate is engraved with a decorative border, surrounding scroll engraving, and additional scrollwork present on the fish head cock. Trigger guard exhibits scrollwork on the bow, which terminates in a foliate motif. Top of bbl. features relief decorative embellishments. One-piece checkered tiger stripe wood stock features triangular pearl inlays around the bbl. tang, with the rear diamond inlay being absent. Brass bbl. band. CONDITION: metal components retain a gray patina, with areas of dark age-related discoloration present overall. Bbl. exhibits some corrosion around the bolster. Brass bbl. band exhibits a brown patina. Action holds at half and full cock. Stock exhibits some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with a crack present around the rear of the wrist, as well as a crack on the right side that stems from the tip of the forend.
