Overall length 16 1/2". The double fullered blade is etched over most of its length with nautical & foliate motifs. The ricasso is stamped near the hilt “(squirrel) ORIGINAL EICKHORN SOLINGEN”. Gilded brass hilt with anchors in the center of the cruciform guard. Eagle pommel & wire wrapped white grip. There is an intricately tied knot around the hilt. Gilded brass scabbard of standard lightning bolt motif. The dagger includes one hanger strap for a dagger and one for a sword. CONDITION: blade shows some scabbard wear. Hilt shows light overall wear, but knot shows heavy wear. Scabbard has traces of original and shows several small dents concentrated near the tip. Both hangers have one non-functional clip.
