Cal. 38/200. S# T5131. Bbl. 5". No. 2 Mark I** double action revolver mfg. by Enfield. The top of the bbl. is marked " CAL 38", followed by "42". Right side of the frame is marked "FTR / 52" (indicating Factory Thorough Repair in 1952) above an Enfield "EDI**" (Enfield "ED" also marked on left side of the bbl.), with small British proofs present overall. Metal components exhibit a matte black enamel finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved vulcanite grips, and features a lanyard swivel and ring on the butt. Standard pinned blade front sight, with square notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, cyl., and bbl. CONDITION: metal components retain fair to good amounts of their arsenal black enamel type finish, exhibiting area of wear and thinning overall that shows through to gray patina. Mirror bore, retaining good rifling throughout. Grips show some superficial marks from handling and storage, with the left grip exhibiting a small crack on the interior on either side of the frame pin slot. (25-2028/MLW). CURIO. $250-500.
