Top of barrels engraved "JOSEPH LANG & SON, 102 NEW BOND STREET LONDON / ABERCROMBIE & FITCH CO. NEW YORK USA"; bottom of barrels are marked with "J.L & S", S# and "FOR 2 3/4" SHELLS". Polished water tables on barrels have London proofs. Keylock sidelock action has strong vivid case hardened finish accented with light acanthus scroll engraving along the borders; engraving extends to breech ends of barrels, trigger plate, trigger guard, top tang & forearm iron. Receiver adorned with gold inlaid setters & pointers on locks within an engraved woodland scenes; gold inlays include retriever bust inlay on bottom & "SAFE" on top tang. Action features single non-selective trigger, auto-ejectors & auto-safety. Custom splinter forearm with point pattern checkering & Anson type push button release. Custom English straight grip stock of English walnut with carved tear drops behind locks, point pattern checkering. LOP: 14 1/4" terminates to Pachmayr red pad. DAC: 1 3/4". DAH: 2 1/2". CONDITION: near excellent with custom refurbished stocks & metal finish. Barrels have very good to near excellent barrel rust blue showing a few scattered areas of marks & scratches. Near excellent vivid case colors., triggerguard & top lever blue. Near excellent wood finish with few scattered light impressions & 1 minute wood inlet repair bottom left in front of forearm iron.
