REVOLVER WITH CASE. Cal. 357 Mag. S# 50161. Bbl. 7 1/2". Dakota (Single Action Army) single action revolver mfg. in Italy by Armi Jager and imported by EMF in 1977. Left side of the bbl. is marked "DAKOTA CAL. 357 MAGNUM", with "ARMI JAGER ITALY" marked across the top, and EMF's importer information marked on the bottom. Right side of the bbl. is marked with a triad of Italian proofs (including a boxed "AC" date code), with additional Italian proofing marked on the underside of the frame. Frame exhibits scroll engraving, which extends to the sides of the cyl., top of the bbl., sides of the hammer, and sides of the trigger guard / rear grip strap. Frame exhibits a plated finish, with the cyl., hammer, bbl., and ejector rod assembly exhibiting a blue finish. Brass trigger guard and rear grip strap with 1-piece plain wood grip. Fixed blade front sight and frame notched rear sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wood display case featuring a red felt lined interior, with a Colt 150th anniversary medallion mounted on the interior of the lid. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory finishes, with blued parts exhibiting some light edge wear. Front face of cyl. exhibits light to mild wear and thinning along edges. Brass trigger guard and rear grip strap have faded to a mellow patina. Very bright bore, exhibiting some light pitting towards the muzzle, while retaining good shallow cut rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips are very good overall. Display case is very good, showing some light superficial marks from handling and storage. (26-3022/MLW). MODERN. $700-1,100.
