Cal. 5.4mm (22 LR). S# 10108. Bbl. 25". Blade front sight. Tangent rear sight graduated to 200m. Matching numbers on top of bolt handle & receiver. Other visible parts are unnumbered. Scarce early German rimfire trainer rifle made by Erma in the 1930's. receiver & bbl. marked with crown "B" & "U" proofs. Blued finish. Walnut pistol grip stock with bottom mounted swivels. CONDITION: stock appears lightly sanded with added varnish, scattered light scratches & handling marks. Buttplate & trigger guard are mostly a smoky gray color with some light oxidation. Bolt assembly remains mostly bright with some scattered oxidation & light pitting. Other parts retain 75% original blue with some edge wear, scattered peppery oxidation & light pitting. Safety not engaging properly but action is otherwise functional when hand cycled. Very good bright bore. (25-2061/MJC). CURIO. $1200-1800.
