REVOLVER WITH FACTORY BOX. Cal. 22 LR. S# 73206F. Bbl. 9 1/2". Single Action Buntline Scout revolver mfg. by Colt in 1959. Left side of the bbl. is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION BUNTLINE SCOUT .22 L.R.", with Colt's single line address marked across the top. Left side of the frame is marked with the encircled Rampant Colt rearing atop a globe logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, including on the aluminum allow frame. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt checkered black synthetic grips. Blade front sight with square frame notched rear sight. Frame is fitted with a small oval collection tag. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wood grain factory box with matching S# written in marker on the bottom panel. Box contains its warranty card and instruction pamphlet. CONDITION: especially fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finish overall. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent. Box shows some light exterior wear from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. An notably fine example of a Pre-64 production Colt Single Action Buntline Scout, that one would find extremely difficult to upgrade from. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Norm Greenberg Collection. (25-4188/MLW). CURIO. $400-600.
