SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE WITH BOX & ACCESSORIES. Cal. 7.62x39mm. S# 407203. Bbl. 16 1/4". Left side of receiver is marked "NORINCO BCI/USA/ MADE IN CHINA", with D.I.G. Inc.'s importer information marked on the right side of the bbl. Trunnion is marked with Factory 66's "66" within a triangle insignia, followed by the model designation and the S#. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for the bolt assembly, which is polished in-the-white. Under-folding buttstock, with smooth wood pistol grip and handguards. Standard AK pattern front and rear sights, with AKM pattern slant brake and bayonet lug. All numbers are matching and include the receiver, receiver cover, mainspring guide rod, bolt carrier, bolt, as well as the gas cyl. tube, which is electro-penciled with the last 4-digits of the S# on the underside of the tube. MAGS: 3 30-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: importer box containing mags. and bayonet. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some of the usual light superficial handling marks, a small spot pitting on the right side of the rear sight base, as well as the usual dragline on the right side of the receiver from operation of the safety lever. Brilliant mirror chrome lined bored, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Action functions appropriately when cycled by hand. Wood furniture is very good to excellent, showing a few light handling marks overall. with 2 impressions present on the underside of the bottom handguard from the folding stock. Box shows some exterior wear from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. A fine example of an always desirable Norinco 56S-1 semi-automatic rifle.
