WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX. Cal. 38 Spcl. S# 70011. Bbl. 4". Trooper double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1968. Let side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations, with Colt's single line address marked across the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the sides of the hammer, which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood target grips. Ramped blade front sight, with adj. square notch rear sight. Wide spur hammer. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory wood grain box containing factory paperwork. Underside of box is matching via a handwritten "70011". CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish overall, save for a very light dragline on the cyl. stops. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show a few minor marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise fine. Box shows light exterior wear, with the lid exhibiting a mild loss from what appears to be previously applied tape. An exceptional example of a Colt Trooper revolver. (24-6426/MLW). CURIO. $500-800.
