RIFLE. Cal. 35 Rem. S# 55833. Bbl. 24" round w/ ramp mounted bead front sight & sporting rear sight. Spiral fluted tubular mag. Beautiful hand engraving w/ vignettes featuring a moose & bear on the right side w/ mountain lion & elk on the left. Top of receiver has a portrait of a whitetail buck. Scenes are surrounded by vine type foliate scroll w/ punch dot backgrounds that extend to upper & lower receiver areas along w/ breech end of bbl. Forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of fancy gloss finished black walnut. Features include point pattern hand checkering, hard rubber grip cap, checkered aluminum buttplate & sling bases, front sling base is mag. tube mounted. Toeline of stock has an oval nameplate. Engraved model 141s are extremely rare. CONDITION: over 97% original blue. Original stock finish shows light crazing in butt section. Bright near excellent bore.
