Cal. 45 Colt. S# 112166. Bbl. 7 1/2" w/ blade sight. Fluted six shot cyl. Bullseye ejector head. Blue & case colored finish. Frame, bbl., grip straps & cyl. have matching numbers. Frame, cyl. & butt of grips have inspector's initials "DFC" referring to principal sub-inspector David F. Clark. Inspector's initials "G" is found on backstrap & trigger guard w/ "P" on cyl. Left side of frame is stamped "US". 1 piece walnut grip w/ cartouches on each panel. Left panel is stamped w/ 1884 date. Mfg. 1884. CONDITION: very fine. Bbl., cyl. & grip straps retain over 90% blue showing edge & carry wear w/ a light cyl. drag line. Frame retains 90% vivid case colors. Grips have light coat of added finish over moderate wear w/ small chips & handling marks along edges of butt. Crisp action w/ 4 solid hammer clicks. Bright bore retains sharp rifling. (01-24189/DS).
