"BLACK BOX" CARTRIDGE PACK. No more than 3 or 4 examples known. The box contains 99 of the earliest "pointed round" tip projectiles with raised "H" head marks. If you want the rarest early Henry box of ammo known, this is it. This box just recently discovered with 1st model rifle, box had split at corners and lid cracked through center, still retains the pasteboard partitions and “Dupont” powder label inside, Dupont label is only example we are aware.
CONDITION: Very good overall as restored & conserved by Bruce Wibberley. Lid was missing 3 of its 4 sides and lid cracked through center, label still retains most of its black color and gold decorated design. Cartridges are all in excellent condition. (02-17982/JS). $10,000-25,000.
