Bbl. 18 1/2" with brass bead front sight, no dovetail at rear of barrel for folding sight plus receiver machined for receiver sight of Williams 5D configuration. Left midpoint of barrel marked "MADE IN THE 200TH YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY". Mfg. 1976 (1961-1985) and shipped 2010 as sold in a Ruger benefit auction on Gunbroker. Per RENE Reference Guide, one of the rarest of Rugers with only 1 known other than this one! Proper features including: uncheckered walnut carbine stock having square cut forend and black Celcon carbine buttplate, riveted in receiver cartridge guide, button cartridge release in loading area and the rare receiver sight. Very popular and collectable fast handling, brush hunting carbine that weighs less fully loaded than the popular lever action carbine weighs empty! Very special Ruger carbine!
