Cal. 5.56mm. S# LC10342. Bbl. 16". The wildly popular SCAR 16 self-loading rifle, as awe-inspiring in hand as it is on the silver screen and glossy magazine pages, can be yours! All exposed metal surfaces are finished in FDE to match the plastic furniture very well. Bbl. terminated with an extremely effective muzzle brake. Folding front and rear sights accommodate its current Trijicon 4x32 ACOG with a red triangle reticle. It’s mounted to the 16" factory rail. Ambidextrous safety/selector. Left side, reciprocating charging handle. Ejection port buffer. It has a six-position, collapsible, right-side folding shoulder stock with a height-adjustable cheek piece. Picatinny rail segments for accessory mounting are at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. Left side receiver engraved: “FN HERSTAL BELGIUM / SCAR 16S cal. 5.56X45” as well as the factory bar code that still resides just below lettering. MAGS: 1 FDE, 30 rd. PMag. Stock locks tightly in all positions. Glass appears clear with a sharp, bright reticle. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. The fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. PROVENANCE: the collection of Gun Sport Ltd., owned by Jon R. Thomas. (23-3269/JZ). MODERN. $3,000-4,000.
