Cal. 45 ACP. S# 20650. Mfg. 1913 within S# range 17251-36400. Based on "U.S. Pistols & Revolvers 1909-1945" by J.C. Harrison, appears to have most correct features including Colt 5" Type 2 bbl. & Type 1 dbl. diamond checkered walnut grips; Type B recoil spring guide instead of Type A. MAGS: 1 Colt two tone 7 rd. with indentation on the right front lip. Mag. has fair appearance with about 30% blue showing wear & patina. CONDITION: Balance of slide has fair original blue showing traces along edges showing patina, wear, & light marks. Front sight blade has small dent. Approx. 50% original fine polish blue on frame with large worn to gray areas on mainspring, front strap, along with streaks of worn finish on sides of frame & along triggerguard area. Fair right grip panel with spots of flattened diamonds & scratches; left grip panel shows better finish & less marks. Barrel has over 70% original blue with cycling wear. Bore shows pitting throughout with intact rifling. (25-3452/MD). CURIO. $1,500-2,500.
