Cal. 45 ACP. S# 7140-NM. Bbl. 5" marked "COLT 45 AUTO NM". Mfg. 1960 (pre Gold Cup) with Accro rear sight, square cut slanted cocking grooves on slide, flat grooved mainspring housing and fully checkered walnut grips having gold Colt medallions. Wide serrated faced and skeletonized target trigger with over travel stop. Spring plug has beveled face along with corresponding bevel on barrel busing to facilitate solid lock up at muzzle; only used until about 1970. Vertical serrations on front grip strap. MAGS: 1 factory 7 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good plus 2 piece Government box with wood grained top. End label has ""F1510" added in red ink. CONDITION: very good to excellent finish with extremely faint thinning at lower front of slide plus small spot of finish loss on right side of slide just forward of ejection port. Top corners of grooved solid rib have slight thinning forward of ejection port. Balance of pistol is near excellent including bore and grips. (25-4984/NW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
