PISTOL WITH SOFT CASE. Cal. 9x19mm. S# 69C11150. Bbl. 4 5/8". Hi Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Belgium and imported by Browning Arms Company in 1969. The left side of the slide is marked with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN BELGIUM". Right side of forward trigger guard web exhibits a single Belgian commercial proof, with the right side of the 2-piece bbl. exhibiting several Belgian commercial proofs. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Fixed half-moon blade front sight, with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 13-rd., with phosphate finished body and blued button pattern floorplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black leather Browning soft case. Pistol is also accompanied by a manual, as well as a letter from the Browning Historical Department, indicating that this pistol was sold for $85.72 on November 28th of 1969 to Wiest's Sporting Goods (Invoice #149966) in West Reading, PA. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some spots of very light wear and thinning on high edges, with a few superficial handling marks present overall. Left side of slide exhibits a small area of light pitting. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few small streaks of what appears to be hardened grease, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing and a few superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. Soft case shows some light wear, but is otherwise very good overall.
