MODEL 1861 NAVY PERCUSSION REVOLVER. Cal. 36. S# 2685. Standard configuration, 7.5" round barrel. Revolver has blued barrel & cylinder, case colored loading assembly, frame, and hammer. Brass grip strap with high polish varnished burl grips. Cased and compartmented box with Navy arms mold and caps, and brass figural powder flask. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 1969 letter from Navy Arms president Val Forgett stating this revolver was display gun engraved by Mr. Uberti, "one of the foremost engravers in Italy". CONDITION: fine-excellent overall, appears unfired with crisp action and minty bore. (01-26728/JS). ANTIQUE. $1,000-1,500.
