MADE IN 1875. Cal. 45. S# 20619. Bbl. 7.5". This is a fine survivor retaining much original blue & case finish w/ indiscernible name carved in butt. This revolver is in the standard configuration w/ 7.5" bbl. w/ correct 1 line Hartford address w/ daggers. Second type ejector housing. Full untrimmed front sight. 2 Line patent dates on left side of frame, “45 CAL” on rear left side of trigger guard. UNATTACHED ACCESSORY: factory letter shows this revolver shipped in this configuration in 1875 to Kittredge & Company, Cincinnati Ohio, Gateway to the West. CONDITION: fine overall, complete & matching, crisp serial numbers & patent markings on frame. Revolver retains 10-20% bright blue in protected areas, traces of case color, balance smooth plum/gray. Grips are well fit, moderate edge wear, scattered sm. dings & dents retaining much of an old varnish finish. Mechanically fine w/ crisp rifled bore. (01-19090/JS). ANTIQUE. $7,000-9,000.
