The top of the bbl. is marked with Colt's single line address, with "COLTS/ PATENT" stamped on the left side of the frame. Cyl. is engraved with Colt's naval scene. The frame, hammer, and loading lever exhibit a case color hardened finish, with the cyl., bbl., and trigger exhibiting a blued finish. Trigger guard and rear grip strap exhibit a silver plated finish and are fitted with a 1-piece smooth wood grip. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well defined rifling throughout. Grip is excellent overall. Box exhibits some tearing (primarily on the lid), but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
