7 3/4" triangular blade measuring from tip to muzzle ring. 11 5/8" overall. These lightweight bayonets were designed specifically for the recoil-operated Model 1941 Johnson rifle. The weight of a standard knife-bayonet would interfere w/ the function of the recoiling barrel, The bayonet is carried in a brown leather scabbard w/ a retaining strap. These bayonets & scabbards are found unmarked. CONDITION: bayonet retains a very large degree of its dark gray parkerized finish showing only light high point wear. The scabbard is in very good condition w/ light wear & several tiny handling marks. Stitching remains tight. (02-24537-3/RW). NON-GUN. $500-700.
