Cal. 7.65mm. S# 234095. bbl. 3 5/8". Model 1907 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Dreyse. Left side of the frame is marked "DREYSE/ RHEINMETALL ABT SOMMERDA", with "GERMANY" marked on the left side of the bbl. Left side of the cocking piece, bbl., and frame exhibit a German Crown/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt, which is polished in-the-white, as well as on the mag. release lever, which is nitre blued. Frame is mounted with 2-piece "RMF" monogram checkered black hard rubber grips. Cocking piece features a concave sight groove and a fixed blade front sight, with a fixed V-notch rear sight present on the frame. All serialized parts are matching, and include the frame, mag. release lever, bbl., and bolt. MAGS: 1 7-rd. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory rust blue finish, exhibiting a few spots of light edge wear, with some scattered spots of pinprick to light surface oxidation present overall. Front grip strap exhibits a small area of wear on the bottom right corner, with some spots of light surface oxidation present on both grip straps. Very bright bore, exhibiting consistent light pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips show some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain very good to excellent overall. An especially fine and attractive example of a Dreyse Model 1907 semi-automatic pistol. (25-2393/MLW). CURIO. $300-500.
