WESSON NO. 2 ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. .32. S# 5275. Standard configuration S&W No. 2 army revolver, 6" barrel, blue finish, smooth factory ivory grips, barrel has one line address & cylinder has rolled patents. These first American cartridge army revolvers were popular among Civil War officers, and this example saw honest use and is a beautiful survivor. CONDITION: fine overall, all matching including assembly marks, revolver retains about 50% of its original factory blue finish with balance plum/brown patina, markings crisp, braised crack repair to top strap, mechanically fine, crisp rifled bore, grips well fit with ivory patina.
