POWER SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# A13745. Bbl. 4 5/8". High Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Fabrique Nationale after German occupation. The left side of the slide is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE/ HERSTAL-BELGIQUE/ BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE", with Belgian commercial proofs marked on the left side of the frame, slide, and right side of the bbl. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Fixed half-moon blade front sight, with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: 1 dull blue 13-rd. mag. Mag. body is marked with an "S" within a diamond, as well as with a faint Eagle/WaA140 proof on the spine. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, as well as some light superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few very light spots of surface level pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some light smoothing and a few minor superficial handling marks, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: the Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (25-276/MLW).
