BREAK ACTION PISTOL WITH CASE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 1157. Bbl. 10". USRA single shot pistol mfg. by Harrington & Richardson. Deep fluted narrow rib bbl. exhibits standard markings overall. Metal components exhibit a blue finish, with the grooved trigger and hammer being polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece walnut grip, featuring a flare on the rear of the butt, with checkered panels present on the sides and rear strap. Interior of frame channel on grip is stamped "5". Pinned Patridge undercut blade front sight with elevation adj. square notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the frame (left side beneath grip) and bbl. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black leatherette wrapped case with nickel plated brass fittings and black leather handle. Interior features a green felt lining, is marked with a black leather "HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS CO." label on the interior of the lid, and contains a 1937 dated United States Revolver Association honor medal, inscribed to "C. MIGLIORINI". CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, showing a few spots of light edge wear and a few minute superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, retaining strong rifling throughout. Grip shows some light smoothing and a few superficial handling marks, with a crack on the top right side stemming from the rear grip strap. Butt shows numerous superficial marks and minor impressions. Case is very good, showing some minor losses at edges, with the handle showing age related cracking and crazing. Interior shows mild wear, as well as some scattered spots of lighter discoloration. (25-4000/MLW). CURIO. $1,500-2,000.
