FOLDING BAYONET. Cal. 1.25". NSN. Bbl. 11 3/4". 27.25" Overall. Brass bbl. flaring to 1.25". Marked “LONDON” on top w/ commercial London proofs at breech. Light engraved decoration at breech. 10.5" Spring loaded triangular bayonet attached w/ hinge near muzzle. Chamfered lock w/ engraved rebated tail “H. NOCK” forward of cock. Beveled flat serpentine cock. Bridled frizzen. Beveled spring & integral curved iron pan. Brass mounted w/ sparse engraved design. CONDITION: very good overall. Lock & bayonet have dark mostly smooth iron patina w/ pitting on bayonet blade mostly at tip. Brass mounts & bbl. have light mustard patina. Stock is sound & well fit w/ sm. scattered cosmetic blemishes. Mechanically fine including bayonet spring & lock. Clear smooth bore. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Gary Parietti. (01-19305/JS).
