11.25”overall, 7” clip point stamped “M. PRICE / SAN FRANCISCO” on ricasso, full tang, walrus slab grips retained by 3 German silver pins & washers, 2.5” oval steel cross guard. Heavy duty, over quarter inch thick at ricasso, tapered bevel from clip point on back edge. Well fit center sewn brown leather sheath. 2” sewn tapered belt loop with reinforcing cord sewn at base. CONDITION: very good overall, gray blade, old sharpening, some loss to original cutting edge, mellow patina, one hairline at top pin. Sheath also overall very good. This fine hunter/bowie saw honest use and was well cared for and a beautiful survivor. PROVENANCE: ex-Bernie Levine collection, ex Coby Mack collection. (02-19364/JS). $5,000-7,000.
