SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 245PZ66565. Bbl. 4 5/8". Hi Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale and imported/retailed by Browning Arms Company in 1981. The left side of the slide is marked with Browning's importer information, with "MADE IN BELGIUM/ BY FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a nickel plated finish overall, save for on the 2-piece bbl., which is polished in-the-white, as well as the trigger, which exhibits a gold colored finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Browning "B" medallion checkered wood grips. Slide features an external extractor, with a fixed half-moon blade front sight and dovetailed square notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame (front grip strap) and bbl. MAGS: 1 nickel plated 13-rd., with nickel plated button type floorplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Black leather Browning soft case containing Hi Power manual. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory finishes overall. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good to excellent overall. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (25-382/MLW). MODERN. $750-1,000.
