BEADED KNIFE SHEATH & KNIFE. 10" x 3", sinew sewn, full coverage both sides with dark blue, red, white, greasy yellow, pink, and green beads on turquoise blue ground one side, reverse red, yellow, dark blue, white-heart red on green ground. throat is decorated with dark blue, yellow, and turquoise blue. 4" beaded drop with tinkle bells. Sheath was made from repurposed parfleche as painted design can be seen inside. Unmarked 12" skinner with 7" blade. CONDITION: very good overall, some beading loss on one edge. PROVENANCE: From the Lifelong Collection of Glen E. Mattox. (02-18364/JS). $800-1,200.
