FACTORY HAMMER SHROUD. Cal. 38 Spl. S# 48815LW. Bbl. 2". Agent double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1956. Bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations, as well as Colt's mfg. information. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo. Alloy frame and sideplate exhibit a black anodized finish, with steel parts exhibiting a blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips, as well as with a factory hammer shroud, marked with the Rampant Colt logo on the right. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked tooled brown leather holster. CONDITION: frame retains the majority of its black anodized finish, exhibiting some light edge wear and some superficial handling marks overall. Bbl. and cyl. exhibit come light edge wear, with the cyl. exhibiting a consistent scattering of light surface oxidation. Mirror bore, exhibiting streaks of hardened grease, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show mild smoothing and a few superficial handling marks, but otherwise remain sound. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting scattered handling marks and a tear on the belt loop. (26-2773/MLW).
