Cal. 38 Spl. S# 61885LW. Bbl. 2". Cobra double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1957. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations, with Colt's 2-line address marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo and "VP" proof. Alloy frame and sideplate exhibit a black anodized finish, with steel parts exhibiting a blue finish. Sides of hammer are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips. Standard fixed blade front sight and sqaure frame notched rear sight. Interior of left grip panel matches via "1885", with the S# on the right panel being illegible. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory finishes, exhibiting patches of light to mild edge wear fading to gray patina, with some superficial handling marks present overall. Mirror bore, retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some mild smoothing, as well as a few superficial handling marks, but otherwise remain sound. (26-2710/MLW).
