HI WALL SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). S# 392. Bbl. 28" octagon to rnd. of No. 1 weight. Rocky Mountain front sight, with sporting rear sight. Thin wall receiver, with stock and forearm flares. Single set trigger. Ebony tipped walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. in 1885, first year of production. CONDITION: metal finish has faded brown appearance, showing small dents and marks, with spots of light surface corrosion. Sanded wood has a good refinish. Trigger will not set, adj. screw is a replacement. Bore shows small spots of very light pitting and retains sound rifling. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (01-27100/DS). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
