PISTOL WITH P.08 LUGER HOLSTER & MAGAZINE. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 137898. Bbl. 4 7/8". P.38 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther in June of 1961 and later imported by Interarms of Alexandria, VA. Left side of slide with standard post-war pattern markings and Eagle/155 acceptance proof, with additional acceptance proof on right followed by a "6/61" date code. Left side of frame exhibits an Interarms import mark, with a crossed out "BMI" stamp on the right, indicating former issue to the German Federal Ministry of the Interior. Parkerized slide and bbl., with black anodized aluminum frame. Frame is mounted with 2 piece checkered black plastic grips. Matching numbers are stamped on the frame, slide, and bbl., with the locking block matching via an electro-penciled inscription on the left. MAGS: 1 World War II production P.08 Luger 8-rd. mag. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 1941 dated brown leather P.08 Luger holster mfg. by Schambach & Co. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original finishes, exhibiting edge wear and some areas of thinning overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered nicks and handling marks. holster has stiffened, exhibiting scattered marks from wear from handling and storage, with some areas of mild age related cracking and crazing.
