Checkered hard rubber grips. Estimated quantity of a few thousand mfg. in the 1880s. CONDITION: partially cleaned metal showing small dents. Grips show moderate wear. Action exhibits wear. Bore has worn rifling with a bulge at about midpoint. 2) C. S. Shattuck Pocket. Cal. 32 short RF. S# 844. 2 3/4" octagon bbl. with blade sight. Fluted 5 shot swing out cylinder. Spur trigger. Nickel finish. Checkered hard rubber grips. Estimated quantity of a few thousand mfg. in the 1880s. CONDITION: over 80% nickel finish. Very good grips. Sound mechanics. Good bore. 3) Wesson & Harrington No. 3 First Type. Cal. 32 short RF. S# 4205. 2 5/8" octagon bbl. with bade sight. Fluted 7 shot cylinder. Ejector rod. Spur trigger. Full nickel finish. Rosewood birds head grips. Mfg. 1874-1879. CONDITION: over 80% nickel. Grips show some flaking finish & handling marks. Sound action. Lightly pitted bore. 4) Wesson & Harrington No. 4. Cal. 38 RF. S# 284. 3 1/2" octagon bbl. with blade sight. Fluted 5 shot cyl. Ejector rod. Spur trigger. Blue finish. Birds head grips. Mfg. 1875-1877. CONDITION: over 40% faded blue. Grips show handling marks. Sound action. Bore exhibits good rifling shows small spots of pitting. (01-28867/DS). ALL ANTIQUE. $1,200-1,800.
